“CatTran Stuff-the-Bus Food Drive” To Benefit Community Food Bank Programs

The University of Arizona Staff Advisory Council, Parking & Transportation and UA Community Relations will join forces for the first “CatTran Stuff-the-Bus Food Drive” on Thursday April 2, 2009 to benefit the Community Food Bank.

The “CatTran Stuff-the-Bus Food Drive” will take place from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Cherry and University on the UA Campus and will benefit the Food Bank’s Child Hunger and Nutrition Programs and the Emergency Food Box program.  The community is asked to bring non-perishable foods that are in great need such as cereal, canned meats and canned vegetables.  Cash contributions will also be accepted.

University of Arizona President, Robert Shelton will speak at 11:00 AM at the” CatTran Stuff-the-Bus Food Drive” event.

The “CatTran Stuff-the Bus Food Drive” is part of the 2009 UA4Food campus wide drive that brings together the efforts of the faculty, staff, and students.  UA4Food is a program of the Office of Community Relations and is supported by the Main Gate Square Merchants.
