TAWN Spring Festival 2009 To Benefit Community Food Bank
The Tucson Area Wiccan/Pagan Network (TAWN) will host a Spring Festival 2009 on Saturday, March 14, 2009. TAWN is encouraging those attending the Spring Festival 2009 to bring items of non-perishable food to benefit the Community Food Bank.
The food bank needs donations now more than ever during these difficult economic times. Non-perishable foods such as canned meat, canned vegetables, canned soups, cereal, peanut butter, canned fruit, canned tomato products, meal mixes such as Hamburger Helper or Rice-A-Roni, condiments.
The Spring Festival 2009 will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church at 4831 E. 22nd Street in Tucson. The event on March 14th begins at 8:00 AM and will conclude at 5:00 PM.
The event will feature a wide variety of vendors, workshops and activities throughout the day, including a food vendor.
