Just Days Left to Vote in Target’s Facebook “Bullseye Gives” Campaign!
Target will let you decide how much to give Feeding America!
Target Corp. is letting Facebook users decide how most of its weekly $3 million donation will be spent in its “Bullseye Gives” charity campaign.
From May 10 to May 25, go to Target’s Facebook page (at www.facebook.com/Target ) , login as a Facebook user and vote for Feeding America from a list of 10 national charities. The $3 million will be split based on the total percentages of votes.
We have five more days to get the number of votes up and take a part of the $3 million for Feeding America. Users are allowed to vote once a day every day until the contest ends. Votes and dollar figures will be updated in real time and final numbers will be announced May 26.
“This is a unique way to help raise awareness of the important work these deserving charities do and increase localized volunteerism nationwide,” said Target President of Community Relations Layasha Ward in a prepared statement.
The Minneapolis-based retailer has been giving 5 percent of its income to charities since 1946, a donation that is now worth $3 million a week.
