CANSTRUCTION® to Benefit the Community Food Bank
Saturday, September 25th through Friday October 1st.
CANSTRUCTION®, a charitable foundation of the Society for Design Administration promoting annual design/build competitions and exhibitions to benefit hunger relief organization, will be the kick-off event on September 25th that brings together Tucson architecture and engineering offices to design and build sculpture installations using only canned food. The creative sculptures will be on display in the lobby of the Tucson Museum of Art during the week from September 25th through October 1st. On Friday October 1st, honors will be awarded to the most creative CANSTRUCTION® in a ceremony organized in partnership with the First Fridays Group, after which the creations will be dismantled and all canned foods donated to the Community Food Bank.
