Community Food Bank Breaks Ground For $360,000 Solar Project
On Friday, August 20, 2010, Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords joined the Community Food Bank to break ground for its new $360,000 Solar Project. Funding for the project came, thanks to the efforts of Congresswoman Giffords with a grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through an Economic Development Initiative Funds (EDI). The project also includes funding from Tucson Electric Power’s Up-Front Incentive Program.
