Stuff the CatTran Food Drive

The University of Arizona Staff Advisory Council, Parking & Transportation and UA Community Relations will join forces for the third annual “Stuff the CatTran Food Drive” on Wednesday, April 6th to benefit the Community Food Bank.

The “Stuff the CatTran Food Drive” will take place from 5:30 AM to 7:00 PM at Cherry and University on the UA Campus and will benefit the Food Bank’s Child Hunger and Nutrition Programs and the Emergency Food Box program.  Departments that have completed their campus food drives are asked to bring their donations to the “Stuff the CatTran” on April 6th.

The Tucson community is also asked to bring non-perishable food items that are in great need such as cereal, canned meats and canned vegetables.  Cash contributions will also be accepted.

University of Arizona President, Robert Shelton is expected to stop by the “Stuff the CatTran” event at 12:00 Noon on April 6th.

The “Stuff the CatTran Food Drive” is part of the 2011 UA4Food campus wide-drive that brings together the efforts of the faculty, staff, and students.  UA4Food is a program of the Office of Community Relations and is supported by the Main Gate Square Merchants and the Marshall Foundation.
