Celebrate Gardens! – Tuesday August 16th from 6 – 9:30 PM

Dine and drink at La Cocina (201 N Court Ave ) and a portion of food/drink sales benefits Community Food Bank Garden Program. Garden lover and musician, Hans Hutchinson, will play at 7:00 PM. Though still hot outside, it’s time to start preparing your garden for fall planting!  Come with your garden questions for the Community Food Bank Garden staff, purchase seeds, and pick up gardening information and a garden class schedule!

Marana Community Food Bank to Form Youth Advisory Panel

 The Marana Community Food Bank will form a “Youth Advisory Panel” to give young people an opportunity to participate in a positive and significant way to help seek solutions to the problem of hunger in their community.

The Marana Community Food Bank recognizes that young people constitute a significant percentage of food bank clients and want their input in helping address the problem.

Juniors and seniors from Mountain View High School and Marana High School or an alternative learning environment within the Marana area are invited to apply.
