Social Media Blitz to Protect Hungry Families

We need your voice! Become a social media advocate for the hungry!  Our clients have no powerful lobbyists to help them, so it is up to us – everyday people who care about feeding the hungry- to try and protect them from devastating cuts. The potential loss of SNAP benefits and funding cuts in TEFAP will have a huge impact on us as an organization and our clients.

Feeding America is launching a two-week social media blitz, focusing on the White House this week and on Congressional Leaders next week.  The goal of the campaign is to generate a high volume of Twitter messages targeted at the five key negotiators in deficit reduction talks. This effort will be supported by Facebook posts to raise awareness about the issue and our social media campaign.
