Marana Community Food Bank Announces New Advisory Board Member, Susan Barrable
The Marana Community Food Bank has elected a new member to its advisory board. She is Susan Barrable who was elected to join seven other community leaders earlier this year. The Board advises the Executive Director in fund raising matters, community relations, solicitation of volunteers and other duties. They play an important role in preserving the mission and vision of a healthy hunger-free community.
Ms. Barrable brings a wealth of experience in business and fundraising to the Marana Food Bank and has been a volunteer for nearly three years. “Susan has compassion for people we serve and a strong desire to be of service,” remarked Linda Hampton, Food Bank Executive Director. “We are fortunate to have her join our board.”
The Marana Community Food Bank is a branch of the Community Food Bank of Sothern Arizona and serves more than 2,300 families monthly in the areas of Marana, Rillito, Avra Valley, Oro Valley and northwest Tucson. It is located at 11734 W. Grier Road, Marana, Arizona 85653.
