“Go Orange Day” is part of Hunger Action Month a nationwide effort to call attention to the problem of hunger in America.  Community Food Bank staff, volunteers, and community advocates will wear orange to help mark the day.  There are many events in which to participate during Hunger Actions Month. For a list, log onto www.communityfoodbank.org/ham to see how you can help. The Community Food Bank, its branch food banks and partner agencies distributed over 27 million pounds of food in Southern Arizona last year, enough for 62,800 meals a day.  For every $1.00 donated, the Food Bank can distribute nearly $9.00 worth of food.

Join the Community Food Bank and enjoy a free eegee’s featuring their Pina Colada flavor on “Go Orange Day”, Thursday, September 5th at Jácome Plaza from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
