Legal Community Against Hunger
Dear Legal Community Colleague,
These are difficult times. Every day in Tucson people are in need of food. Sadly, over 40% are children. Senior citizens, the working poor and anyone else in need can find help through the Community Food Bank, which distributes enough food for over 35,000 meals a day.
The budgets of working families are stressed this time of year. The rising cost of living, holiday expenses or unexpected medical bills can make it easy for families to slip into a food emergency. The Community Food Bank will see some families over and over again in the coming months.
For 20 years, the Legal Community Against Hunger has supported the remarkable work of the Community Food Bank. Since 1988, we’ve collected over $300,000 for the fight against hunger. With our funds, the food bank has been able to distribute nearly $3 million dollars worth of food! Won’t you join us this year in relieving hunger in our community?
Your gift will:
• Help provide nutritious food to people in need.
• Be multiplied nine times! Every $1 you send provides $9 of food.
• Be combined with the gifts of your colleagues for maximum impact.
Thank you for your generosity. We wish you a happy and healthy New Year, one in which you and your loved ones never experience hunger.
