Caridad Community Kitchen

Caridad Community Kitchen is a Program of the Community Food Bank which has been providing hot evening meals to low-income residents for more than 17 years in Tucson.

Last year donations and other support made it possible to provide more than 170,000 hot meals to members of our community at several congregate feeding sites in Tucson. These neighbors often come to one of the distribution sites because they must choose between buying food, obtaining medical care, or paying the rent. No one should have to make that choice.

Providing nutritious meals for daily distribution is only part of how Caridad accomplishes its mission.

We are committed to working with our community to create a place where:

-No one goes to bed hungry.

-Those in need have access to resources and opportunities necessary to enjoy a productive and self sustaining life in which they pursue their own full potential.

-All members of the community have the opportunity to experience the joy and satisfaction of giving and helping those who are less fortunate.

THE CARIDAD COMMUNITY KITCHEN will be serving a
