Economic Literacy

The Community Food Bank Teaches an Economic Literacy Curriculum to low income people in Family Literacy Classrooms. To assist them to start taking steps: let them know the programs and services that are available, become more conscious of the nutrition choices and the options they have to make positive dietary changes, and teach budgeting & financial tools.

The Economic Literacy Coordinator works with the Family Advocate to give information about other agencies so people with different kind of needs receive help.
