Priority Volunteer Needs for the Community Food Resource Center

  • Handy Person for Nuestra Tierra- Our demonstration and market garden is in need of a all-around “handy” person, to do minor repairs and improvements to garden structures. We are especially looking for someone with drip irrigation system experience to assist with irrigation issues.
  • Handy Person for Marana Heritage Farm- The Marana Farm is seeking someone to assist with minor repairs to farm structures and irrigation.
  • Website design- We are seeking someone with experience using WordPress to help us revise and improve the design of the CFRC portion of the website. This is a larger project, but short-term, and would be especially suited for someone who wishes to volunteer for a chunk of time (off for the summer, for example).
  • Website translation- We are seeking someone fluent in written English and Spanish with some WordPress experience to help translate our entire CFB website. This is also a larger project, but short-term, and would be especially suited for someone who wishes to volunteer for a chunk of time (off for the summer, for example).
